I'm way behind on posting this wedding, but it was so pretty, I figure better late than never! Leslie was such a great bride- really chill and just wanted to have fun. And she did! The wedding was sweet, well thought out, cute, and emotional. Leslie and Tommy overcame so many obstacles and had so many hard moments leading up to their wedding day, I think everyone was so happy that they could have a day where the only focus was their love for each other.

trash the dress...

this session was done back in the fall, but I waited until now to share it with you because it goes along with my Big Announcement. I will officially be booking weddings starting this year. I will be accompanied by an assistant at each wedding, and my bookings will be strictly limited. I want to make sure each bride and groom get the full attention they deserve, so I will not book more than one wedding per weekend, and I will limit the number of weddings per month. April and May are full. I am booking through 2010 right now, and fall is shaping up to be a busy season, so contact me asap if you are interested in wedding/engagement. I’d love to get together with you (preferably at a Starbucks so I can have a chai latte!) and discuss your special day. That way, we can see if we’re the perfect fit for each other! One of the package add ons I will be offering is a Trash The Dress session. I really don’t like that name since it sounds a little scary- we won’t actually be ripping your dress to shreds (unless you want to, of course!). Maybe it should be called Wet The Dress. Or Mess The Dress. I WISH I had done this before my dress was cleaned and preserved. I think these sessions are So fun and sexy and WHEN are you ever going to wear that dress again, really? Trust me, your daughter isn’t going to want to wear it. :-) So, without further ado, here is the beautiful Julie who braved FREEZING water like a PRO to get these shots. Not one complaint from her. My feet were in the water and that was cold enough for me thankyouverymuch.

We went to downtown Cartersville for some fun after-ceremony shots. I thought it was so cool that they really planned their day around the pictures because the photography was so important to them!

The train conductor probably thought we were a bunch of crazies! But it was fun trying to catch the train!

We stopped traffic for this one... :-)

Pepper Wedding Part One...

This weekend I had the opportunity to second shoot for my friend Reagan of Memories of a Lifetime. We photographed the cutest little garden wedding you ever did see! Billy and Julie were so adorable together and they did such a great job making the day reflect their personalities. Billy designed the flowers, and their vows were seriously the best ones I've ever heard. Julie's were written as one big rhyme- so cute! Here are some of my shots from the day...

This reminds me of that scene in Runaway Bride- swaying in front of the fan! Poor thing- it was quite warm in the house so she had to do what she had to do!

Oh my gosh- I love this picture! I almost overlooked it, but then I noticed dad's face- and Billy's smile- and Julie's look of joy. I could just cry looking at dad's expression- like he has her whole lifetime of memories all swirling around as he's about to give away his little girl...

There are so many pictures, I wish I could share them all!! Keep checking back for some pictures from their after-wedding shoot! That was the best- these two were up for anything!
